Fuel tank flap
Fuel tank flap
The fuel tank flap is found on the
right-hand rear side of the car. To open
the flap, press pushbutton A which is
located inside the glove compartment.
The cap’s hermetic seal may result in a
slight pressure increase in the tank.
Any hissing noise while the cap is being
released is normal.
When refueling, the cap must remain
hanging from the flap by means of the
respective hook B.
The cap is joined to the filler neck with
a strap to prevent misplacement while
refueling.
The flap must be re-closed manually.
Before closing the flap, check that the
fuel filler cap is fully tightened.
Do not bring open flames or lit
cigarettes close to the filler
because of the risk of fire!
Also do not put your face close to the
filler so as not to inhale noxious
fumes.

If necessary the flap can be opened by
pulling the cable C located on the right
hand side of the luggage
compartment.
