Additional operations
Every 300 mi. (500 km) or before long
journeys, check and if necessary
restore:
– engine coolant level
– windshield washer fluid level
– tire pressure and condition
– engine oil.
WARNING - Engine oil
If the vehicle is used mainly in one of
the following particularly severe
conditions:
– dusty roads
– short repetitive trips (less than 5-6
mi) when the external temperature
is below zero
– engine running frequently at idle
speed or without reaching steady
operating temperatures
replace the engine oil more frequently
than indicated on the Maintenance
Schedule.
WARNING - Air filter
When using the vehicle on dusty roads,
replace the air filter more frequently
than indicated on the Maintenance
Schedule.
Contact your local Authorized
Maserati Dealer if you have any doubts
about the frequency for the engine oil
and air filter replacements, in relation
to the vehicle's conditions of use.
WARNING: All maintenance
operations for the vehicle must be
carried out by your local Authorized
Maserati Dealer. For those routine and
minor maintenance operations which
you can carry out yourself, make sure
that you always use suitable
equipment, original Maserati spare
parts and the prescribed fluids; in any
case, never carry out these operations
if you are not experienced.
