controls to
RUN
position.

Loosen
screw
"A".

hold.

Move
lever

to left.

Tighten
screw
"A"
securely.
When the governor
is
properly
set, the car-
buretor
throttie
lever
will be
in
a
wide open
position
when
the
controls
are
set
for
starting.
The
governor
spring is to
be
anchored in the
bottom
right
hole
("D")
of
plate
"B".
Do not
stretch
or
cut
the
governor
spring.
Above
ad-
justments
will
correct
any variations in
gover-
nor
control.

Before
attaching
the remote
speed control
(Bowden
wire),
set
engine for
maximum
rpm.
Set the high
speed
(3400
to
3600 rpm)
with en-
gine
running.

Nlove
lever
"A"
clockwise until lower
end
strikes
the
adjusting screw
"1".
2. Loosen locknut
on
acljusting
screw

and turn
clockwise to
decrease
maximum
rpm.
Turn
countefclockwise
to
increase
maximum
rpm.

With
engine
stopped,
set
Bowden wire
on
RUN
(high
speed)
position.
Attach
the Bowden
wire to lever
"A"
(in
hole
"8"
or
hole

present).
Move lever

to
stop
against
speed
adjusting
screw
"1"
and hold
it. Secure
Bowden
wire
cable with
appropriate
clamp;
clamp
"B"
or
clamp

on engine blower
housing.

Adjust it by
starting
