Testing for leaks
Check that all connections are tight. Small leaks in the tank, hoses, connections or transfer tubes
will substantially reduce the compressor performance. Spray a small amount of soapy water around
the area of suspected leaks. If bubbles appear, repair, replace or reseal the faulty component. Do not
overtighten any connections.
Storage
Before storing the compressor for a prolonged period, follow the steps below correctly.
• Disconnect the power cord and coil it up on the handle.
• Clean all dust and debris from the compressor using an air blow gun.
• Pull the safety valve ring to release all pressure from the tank.
• Drain all moisture from the air tank.
• Clean the air filter. Replace it if necessary.
• Cover the compressor to protect it from moisture and dust.
