1. Use a screwdriver to remove the battery
compartment cover from the battery
compartment

2. Insert two type LR03 (AAA) batteries.
Ensure that the polarity is correct (+/-).
3. Screw the battery compartment cover
back in place.
Before cutting
Before you use the saw (see
chapter
“Use”), you should be familiar with the most
important functions.
This saw can be used as a table saw or mitre saw. You can switch between these two
functions by tilting the motor by 180°.
− Read all safety instructions in this user manual carefully.
− Make sure that your work area is organised and well lit.
Connecting the device to the power supply
− Connect the mains plug with a properly installed socket. Before connecting the
saw, ensure that the mains voltage corresponds to the data on the saw’s rating
plate.
− Always run the cable backwards away from the tool.
− If the place of use is not located near a socket, you can use an extension cord.
Only use an extension cord that is suitable for this purpose (see chapter “Working
safely”).
− Lay the mains cord so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
