Use as a mitre saw
To use the mitre saw function, the saw head must be in the top position.

1. Pull on the motor locking mechanism

and turn the motor

anticlockwise up to the stop point until
the motor locking mechanism audibly
and noticeably locks into place. The saw
blade is now in the bottom position.
2. Fold the cover of the saw head locking
mechanism

3. Pull the saw head locking mechanism

The rotating bench handle

will now
fold down and the spring force will move
the saw head into the top position.

1. Move the saw to the basic position (as
described in the chapter “Transport/
basic position”).
2. Release the rotating bench locking
mechanism

3. Push the rotating bench release

down.
4. Turn the rotating bench

until the
indicator on the angle scale

points
to 0°.
5. Engage the rotating bench locking
mechanism again.
6. Release the vertical angle lock

and
set the saw head to a vertical angle of 0°
(that is, the saw blade is at a 90° angle to
the mitre bench).
7. Tighten the vertical angle lock again.
