WARNING!
Risk of injury: Improperly using the saw can cause severe injury. Make sure that
you carefully read through and have understood the safety instructions at the
beginning of the user manual.
Do not use the machine to cut work pieces that are so small that you can not
securely hold them.
Always use the clamping device to firmly clamp round work pieces in place.
Use an additional support for long work pieces (tables, sawbucks etc.) that
would tip off of the machine bench if they are not supported.
Before you switch on the saw, carry out a dry run of the sawing process to
ensure that no problems occur.
Before cutting, let the saw blade reach the full speed before you move the
saw head down.
Use a push stick when cutting small workpieces in bench saw mode to avoid
working with the hands close to the saw blade. Keep the push stick in a handy
place near the saw.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage: Using the saw improperly can damage the saw or the work
piece.
Check the condition of the saw blade before each use. Do not use any
damaged or deformed saw blades.
Generally switch the saw on before it comes into contact with the material.
Slowly lower the saw head so as not to overload the motor and to prevent
the saw blade from catching.
Apply moderate pressure to saw the work piece.
