Setting the zero position
1. Set the saw head to 0° on the vertical angle
scale

2. Set the angle metre up against it.
3. Turn the fine adjustment for the vertical
angle

in or out
until the saw blade is at a
90°angle to the tabletop.
4. Tighten the counter nut for the fine
adjustment for the vertical angle.
Setting the 45° position
1. Set the saw head to 45°.
2. Apply the angle metre as shown in the
adjacent figure
(180°–135° = 45° = angle to be set).
3. Turn the fine adjustment for the vertical
angle

in or out
until the saw blade is at a
45° angle to the tabletop.
4. Tighten the counter nut for the fine
adjustment for the vertical angle.
