Always pull the plug out of the socket when the appliance is not being used and always before
cleaning.
Warning! As long as the plug is in the socket the appliance is connected to the power source.
Turn off the appliance and wait until the cutting blade has stopped turning, before pulling the
plug out of the socket.
Never carry the appliance by the cord. Make sure you carry the appliance with both hands by
its casing.
Avoid overloading and do not use too much strength while you push the food against the
cutting blade of the appliance.
Do not use any extra devices that are not supplied along with the appliance.
The electrical installation must satisfy the applicable national and local regulations.
Preparations before using for the first time
Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged. In case of any damage, contact your
supplier immediately and do NOT use the appliance.
Remove all the packing material.
Warning! Different parts can be sharp and can cause wounds when not used with care.
Place the appliance in the middle of a steady place and level the appliance.
Place the appliance with the ‘On/Off’ switch facing to the place where the user will stand.
Make sure the appliance is not placed next to any sources that radiate heat (for example a
heater, stove or oven).
Make sure the appliance is placed 10 cm from every other object or walls.
Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is accessible at all times.
Clean the accessories and the appliance with luke-warm water and a soft cloth.
When the knife sharpening tool is missing, then place it on top of the appliance.
Follow the steps in chapter ‘Operation’.
Warning! When the appliance exhibits overheating, turn off the appliance and let it cool down,
before you restart it.
Operation
Plug the appliance into the main socket.
Control whether the appliance has been assembled in the correct way.
Control the meat; make sure it is free of bone and tough tendon. Make sure you defrosted the
meat.
Set the desired cutting thickness by using the switch at the side of the appliance.
Place the food under the cutting arm.
Use the ‘On /Offswitch, which is located on the side of the appliance, to start the appliance.
