TEST: Do you hear the “clunk” when the solenoid coil
engages?
PROCEDURE: Connect “+” test probe on yellow wire.
Connect “-” test probe to ground,
e.g. valve body or appliance chassis.
RESULT: The reading should be 5+ mV at the yellow wire
as the batteries power the electromagnet.
