UNPACKING
The shipment should be thoroughly inspected as
soon as it is received. The signed "bill of lad-
ing" is acknowledgement by the carrier of receipt
in good condition or shipment covered by our
invoice. For your own protection, if any of the
goods called for on the bill of lading are shorted
or damaged, do not accept them until the carrier
makes a notation on the freight bill of the shorted
or damaged goods
Notify Maxx Group LLC immediately if any hidden
loss or damage is discovered after receipt.

brighter stop lights should turn on while the
pedal is depresed. Check the turn signals;
the blinking turn signal lights should be work-
ing. If any problem is noted, check the Wire
Connection and the circuit that failed. Make
repairs as needed and re-test the lights
8. Placing the 12V Magnetic Tow Lights on
the vehicle:
A. Make sure magnetic surface of Tow
Lights and surface of vehicle is clean. The
underside of each light is magnetic and will
attach to the vehicle's metal surface. To help
avoid surface scratches, do not remove the
protective label on underside of each light
(see photo below)
B. Position Tow Lights

vehicle with RED lights

attachment wire is the right light (curb side)
The other Tow Light (with no green wire)
is the left light and goes on the traffic side.
Make sure the flow of wires is adequate
for turning the vehicle, but not too ong and
loose that it touches the ground
C. Make sure 4-Way Flat Vehicle Connector
and Tow Light Connector are plugged in to
each other.
D. Test the tow lights and vehicle lights to
make sure both are working properly:
- both Tow Lights should be on when tow
vehicle's running lights are on.
-when brake is applied, both Tow Lights
should brightly light up
-when the tow vehicle's left and right turn
signals are activated, the appropriate Tow
Light should also blink brightly

ting clothing or jewelry when working Contain
long hair, and keep hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Remove conductive
objects such as metal jewelry and watches be
fore installing the light kit.
E Use common sense when working. Stay
alert and concentrate when setting up and using
the 12V Magnetic Tow Light Kit. Never work
while under the influence of alcohol, drugs or
medications
F While assembling and using the 12V Magnet
ic Tow Light Kit keep work area clean and well
lighted. Keep spectators and children out of the
work area
3. Use of the 12V Magnetic Tow Light Kit
A. This 12V Magnetic Tow Light Kit is de-
signed for trailers less than 80 inches in
width Only install these lights on a 12V
negative ground circuit. The tow light kit is
not waterproof; do not install on boat trailers
or other marine applications. Adhere to all
Department of Transportation (DOT) stan-
dards and regulations regarding light kits
Do not modify the Tow Light Kit and do
not use this product for purposes that it
was not designed for.
B. As pertaining to lights on trailers, read
and adhere to all safety guidelines and in-
structions provided by the manufacturer
of the trailer.
C. If you are not experienced in assembly-
ing and setting up electrical products such
as this one, the work should be done by a
qualified service technician.
D. Keep children and spectators well clear
when setting up this product and when ma-
neuvering a towed vehicle
E People with pacemak-
ers should consult their physician(s) before
using this product. Operation of electrica
equipment in close proximity to a heart pace
maker could cause interference to, or failure
of, the pacemaker.
F. To verify that the correct wire has been
located on the tow vehicle's wiring harness,
it is recommended that a circuit tester be
used
G The vehicle/trailer must be stationary
when Tow Lights are installed. Vehicle's en
gine must be OFF and parking brake set.
H. Only set up lights with red lights facing
backward (towards traffic behind)
Test the operation of the lights before driving
in traffic. Once Tow Lights are in operation,
periodically pull over and check the position
and operation of the lights Wind and road
conditions can affect the position of the lights
Make sure that the lights remain securely
in position.
Keep in mind that the warnings, cautions,
and instuctions previously discussed
cannot cover all possible events and cir-
curnstances. It is important that the per-
son setting up and using this product use
common sense and caution at all times.

attachment or the installation of this prod-
uct. The attachment of this product is
critical and beyond the control of Maxx Group
LLC Towing Products. Failure to follow
all instructions and safety warnings can
result in an accident, injury and/or prop-
erty damage. Maxx Group LLC neither guaran-
tees, nor will it be liable for any damage
resulting from the 12V Magnetic Tow
Light's attachment or improper use.

Assembling and Setting Up

2. Refer to the photo below when planning
and setting-up the 4-Way Flat Vehicle Connec-
tor to the towing vehicle's wiring

3. If the towing vehicle already has a 4-Way
flat connector trunk plug, the wiring instructions
below will not be needed
4. To connect the towing vehicle wiring to the
4-Way Vehicle Connector, you must first iden-
tify the towing vehicle's wires and determine
where they connect to the wires of the 4-Way
Flat Vehicle Connector (shown above)
The WHITE wire of Vehicle Connector is a
ground wire and is attached to a clean, bare
metal surface of the towing vehicle.
The BROWN wire connects to the running
lights wire of the tow vehicle.
The YELLOW wire connects to the tow ve-
hicle's left stop, and turn light wire.
The GREEN wire connects to the tow vehicle's
right stop and turn light wire.
5. These wires can be connected together
by using Wire Connectors. See instructions
below:
A. Insert the end of the wire from the 4-Way
Flat Vehicle Connector into the wire channel
that is blocked off on one end
B. In the open wire channel, place the corre
sponding wire from the vehicle.

C. Slowly close the cover of the Wire Connec-
tor, making sure that the wires remain in the
channels. Cover will snap in place. See photo
below.

6. With the tow vehicle's electrical wiring now
connected to the 4-Way Flat Trailer Connec-
tor, this connector can now be plugged into the
4 Way Flat Tow Light Connector
7. Test the lights. Turn on the tow vehicle's
head lights. With a spotter to assist, check that
the Tow Lights and the tow vehicle's lights all
E. With this successful test, the Tow Lights
are ready and will activate when running
lights, turn lights and brake lights are acti-
vated on the tow vehicle.
F. While in use, frequently stop and check
the Tow Lights Extreme weather and rough
road sufaces can impact the magnetic con
nection of the Tow Lights to the vehicle
