Mounting the Trailer Step
1. Plan carefully where the Trailer Step is
to be mounted. It is designed to mount to
the side of the trailer tongue or trailer frame.
There should be solid support nearby where
a person can grab onto, to stabilize balance
while using the Trailer Step.
The beam of the tongue or trailer must be
rectangular or square. This Trailer Step
will t a main frame up to 3” x 5”. The
Trailer Step and the back plate have vari-
ous mounting congurations for adjustable
positioning.
2. Do not attempt to modify the trailer
tongue; making changes or drilling
holes in the trailer tongue could result in
failure of this component.
3. Never mount the Trailer Step on a cylin-
drical trailer tongue. The Trailer Step and
its back plate will only mount properly on a
rectangular or square tongue beam.
4. Make sure that the Trailer Step will not
interfere with the trailer, safety chains, or
the vehicle when turns are made, or when
the trailer travels over speed bumps or up
and down boat ramps.
5. The best way to install the Trailer Step
is when the trailer is attached to the tow
vehicle and both are located on a at, level
solid surface.
6. The Trailer Step must be mounted prop-
erly. If you are not accustomed to doing
this type of work, the Trailer Step should be
set-up by a qualied service technician.

the trailer using the four included Bolts and
Lock Nuts (see photo below). Make sure all
hardware is securely tightened.
