CAUTION
Do the procedure with the antenna
removed. The antenna may be damaged
if it is left installed.
NOTE
l
The gear units on both sides have to
be unlocked to release the deck
before it is raised manually. Because
the deck is heavy, two adults are
required to raise it.
l
The following describes the
procedure for the gear unit on one
side. Perform the procedure on both
sides.
2. Insert the Allen wrench into the Allen
socket in the bolt head that is pointed
forward of the gear unit located under
the deck lid as shown in the figure.

The gear units are located underneath

3. Use the eyebolt to get enough torque
on the short leg of the Allen wrench
and turn the Allen wrench 4 times
counterclockwise.
