The cruise set indicator comes on when a
cruising speed
is
set.

I To Set Speed
1. Turn on the CRUISE MAIN switch.
2.
Accelerate to the desired speed,
whicb
nustbe nore than 40 kdh
(25
nph).
3. Move the cruise control lever down to
SET/COAST and
release il at the
speed
you
wanl.
Release
the
accelerator at
the
same
lime.
Donl continue to hold lhe
lever Until
you
relea-ce it, speed
will
continue !o
drop
(unless
you
continue to accelerate)
and
you'tl
miss tlte desired speed.
NOTE
The SET function can't be
activated
unlil about 2 seconds
after ihe CRUISE MAIN switch
has been engaged.
On a sieep
grade,
the vehicle may
momentarily slow down
going
up
or speed up
while
going
down.
