GENERAL MAINTENANCE
PERIODICAL INSPECTIONS
Atleastonceeverythreemonths:
– remove any foreign bodies from between the
evaporatorandcondenserfins;
– checkthetensionofthecompressorbelt;
– allow the engine to run at a rate of 1500 rpm. In
the meantime keep the dehydrator filter under
observation: the glass should be clear, without air
bubblesorwhiteliquid.
– check the conditions of the pipes, unions and
supportingbrackets;
– makesurethatthedrainpipesareefficientandremove
thecondensationfromtheevaporator;
– make sure that the screws and fixing nuts of the
pulleysandcompressorarewelltightened.

YEARLY MAINTENANCE
HaveyourDealer’sspecializedpersonnelcarryoutthe
followingoperationsatthebeginningoftheseason:
– checktheleveloftheoilinthecompressorandtopit
upifnecessary;
– makesurethatthesystemistightbymeansofaleak
testerandtopuptheHFC134agasifnecessary,or
– replacethedehydratorfilteronlyifstrictlynecessary;
– carryoutafunctionaltestonthesystem.
If the conditioning system remains unused for a long
periodoftime,itmustbeturnedonforafewminutes
eachmonthtoallowtheoiltocirculatearoundthecircuit.
GENERAL CAB MAINTENANCE (ALL
VERSIONS)
Afterservicingtheexternalpartsofthecab,proceedwith
thefollowinginspections:
1. Periodically check to make sure that no water has
collectedinthezonescoveredwithmatsorupholstery.
2. Protectthehingesandlocksofthedoors, sunroof
andopenablewindowswithwater-repellentlubricating
products.
3. Usespecialcleaningproductstocleanthewindows,
orsulphuricether,ifnecessary.
4. Detachthewindscreenwiperandsprinkletalcumon
therubberwiper.
5. Leavethedoorsorsun-roofpartiallyopen.
CAB UPHOLSTERY
CAUTION: Use water and a neutral detergent to
clean the polyurethane cab upholstery or the specific
products available on the market for cleaning car
interiors. Any commercial product for car upholstery
cleaning may be used.
Do NOT use any products deriving from hydrocar-
bons, ketonic or aromatic solvents, or cleaning spirits
of any kind.

IMPORTANT: This tractor uses a R134A coolant that does
not damage the ozone layer. Do not introduce any coolant
different from the prescribed one into the air conditioning
system. This could jeopardize the cooling power and irre-
mediably damage the system.
Checkthetensionofthecompressorbeltasindicatedin
theRoutineMaintenanceat250hours.
DANGER: Wear safety garments and goggles
in case of leaks. Coolant can injury the eyes.
The coolant produces a toxic gas if it contacts
a flame.
