- Comply with road traffic laws, including any speed
restrictionsandthecorrectuseofHazard

- Connect the brake pedals together with the brake
pedalinterlock. Thiswillensureuniformbrakingand
maximumstoppingability.
- Check clearance before going under electric power
lines,bridgesetc.
Tractor Warning Lamp Usage
North American Tractors
- Theflashingamberwarninglampsmustbeusedac-
cordingtoroadtrafficlaws.
Theflashingamberwarninglampsmustbeusedwhen
operatingthetractorontheroadduringthedayornight.
Avehicleoperatorthatcomesnearthetractormustsee
anSMVsymbolandthetaillampsfromtherearandthe
flashingamberwarninglampsfromthefrontandrear.

Highway/Public Road Operation
Use of amber hazard warning lights
Amberhazardwarningareoperatedbyturningthemain
lightswitchclockwisetothe1stand2ndposition.
FIRSTPOSITION(1)-ALLamberhazardlightsareblink-
ing.
SECONDPOSITION(2)-ALLhazardwarninglights are
blinking,andfrontandrearsidelightslightup.
Whenthedirectionturnsignalswitchisused,theamber
warninglampswilloperateasfollows:
1.Whenindicatingtoturnright,theRightamberwarning
lampwillflashONandOFFandtheLeftamberwarning
lampwillilluminatebutwillnotflash.
2.Onthecontrary,whenindicatingtoturnleft,theLeft
amberlightblinksandtherightonelightsup,butdoes
notblink.
IMPORTANT: When towing an implement or wagon
with the tractor, the complete rear area warning system
(amber warning lamps, red tail lamps and SMV symbol)
must be easily seen by any vehicle operator coming near
the tractor.
