WARRANTY CLAIM
Acorrectinstallation,followedbyaregularmaintenance,
candomuchtopreventmalfunctionsorbreakdowns.If
operationproblemsshouldbehoweverencountereddu-
ringthewarrantyperiod,thewarrantyshouldbeclaimed
withthefollowingprocedure.
TheDealerbywhomyoupurchasedthetractorshould
bepromptlyinformed,statingmodelandserialnumber.
Itismostimportantthatthereshouldbenodelay,and
youshouldrealisethat,evenwheretheoriginalfailureis
coveredbywarranty,ifthefailureisnotrepairedimme-
diately,warrantycovermaynotapply.
You should give your Dealer as many information as
possible,forinstanceworkhours,currenttypeofwork
andwarningsigns.
Itshouldbenotedthatnormalmaintenanceservicessuch
as tuning,brake/clutch adjustments, and the supply of
materialsusedtoservicethetractor(oil,filters,fueland
antifreeze)arenotcoveredbytermsofthewarranty.
SPARE PARTS WARNING
Thefitmentofpartsofinferiorqualitymaynotonlyimpair
machineperformances,butalsobedangerousforopera-
tor’shealthandsafety.Themanufacturerofthetractorwill
nottaketheresponsibilityforanyloss,damageorliability
resulting from the fitment of such parts, and, if fitted
during the normal warranty period, the manufacturer’s
warrantymaybeinvalidated.
IF YOU MOVE
The Dealer by whom you bought your tractor is sole
responsible for the protection given by your warranty.
Werecommendthatanyrepairofyourmachineshould
bemadebytheDealer.Ifyou,however,movetoanother
areaorthetractormustmomentarilyoperateinanarea
farfromtheoriginalDealer,youshouldaskyourDealer
fornameandaddressoftheDealernearesttothenew
worksite,sothatthewarrantyistransferredtothelatter.
IfyoumovedfromtheareaofyouroriginalDealerwithout
anyarrangementswiththenewDealer,thelatterwillgive
youassistanceforemergencies,butwillchargenormal
prices,unless:
a.Youmakeitclearthatthewarrantyhasnotexpired,
and
b.theDealermakingtherepaircanmaketheduearran-
gementswiththeoriginalDealer.
POST-WARRANTY SERVICE
DuringthewarrantyperioditisadvisabletoletyourDealer
performeveryrepairandservicing.InthiswaytheDealer
isabletokeepundercontroloperationandperformances
ofyournewtractor.
Inordertoobtainthebestperformancesfromyourtractor,
itisimportanttogoonwithregularchecksandservicing
evenafterthewarrantyisexpired.Makeuseofyourlocal
Dealerforallmajortractorservices:atrainedengineerwill
spotanyproblemsbetweenoneserviceandthenext.
Ourengineersareregularlytrainedandupdatedonthe
product, servicing techniques and the use of modern
service tools and diagnostic equipment. They receive
regularServiceBulletins,haveallWorkshopManualsand
othersuchtechnicalinformationtoensurethattherepair
orserviceistothestandardrequired.
SAFETY
Thesafetyoftheoperatorisoneofthemainconcernsin
designinganddevelopinganewtractor.Designersbuild
inasmanysafetyfeaturesaspossible.However,every
yearmanyaccidentsoccurwhichcouldhavebeenavoided
byafewsecondsthoughtandamorecarefulapproach
tohandlingfarmmachineryandimplements.Therefore
you are required to read through and implement the
safetyinstructionsdetailedintheSafetyNotessection
ofthisbook.
CAUTION: In some of the illustrations used
in this Operator Instruction Book, panels or
guards may have been removed for clarity.
Never operate the tractor without these com-
ponents in position. If the removal of panels
or guards is necessary to make a repair, they
MUST be replaced before operation.
