USE
UNPACKING
Carefully remove the product and any
accessories from the packaging and check that
the product is not damaged. Do not use the
product if it is damaged. If possible save the
packaging until the warranty has expired.
WARNING!
Keep the packaging material out of the reach
of children and pets – risk of suocation.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
NOTE:
The battery is supplied uncharged and must
be charged before using for the rst time.
1. The battery (A) must be removed from the
tool before it can be charged. Press the
battery catch button (B) and carefully pull
out the battery.
2. Connect the battery charger (3) to a
230 V power point.
3. The red status light (1) goes on to show
that the charger is supplied with voltage.
4. Put the battery in the charger.
5. After a few seconds the green status
light (2) also goes on to indicate that the
charging has started. The light stays on
while the charging in progress.
6. When the battery is fully charged the red
status lights go o but the green light
stays on.
7. Remove the battery from the battery
charger by holding the battery charger in
one hand and removing the battery from
the charger with the other.

IMPORTANT:
Check the condition of the charger and
the battery before use. Do not attempt
to charge if the battery or charger are
damaged.
Do not pull the power cord to pull out
the plug, grip the plug to avoid
damaging the cord.
The charger gets warm when charging.
Allow it to cool for 15 minutes before
charging again.
TIPS FOR MAXIMUM BATTERY LIFE
Avoid overdischarging – charge the
batteries before they are fully discharged.
When the power tool begins to fail, stop
working and charge the battery. If you
continue working until the battery is fully
discharged this can damage the battery.
Avoid charging at high temperatures.
A rechargeable battery will be hot for a
while after use. If such a battery is charged
immediately after use the active
substances inside the battery can be
corrupted and reduce the battery life.
Allow the battery to cool before charging.
Do not charge the battery at temperatures
below 5°C or above 30°C, this can
damage the battery.
Allow the battery to reach room
temperature before charging.
NOTE:
Charging a cold or hot battery can cause
serious personal injury or serious damage to
the battery or charger.
