Figure 5-1 MTC channel model and feature settings
The purpose of setting the channel characteristics is to adjust the field linearity error of the module, the
difference in the ambient temperature of the module and the use of the compensation cable (connecting
cable) will bring errors to the MTC measurement results, and the user can eliminate it by setting the
channel characteristics error.
The values of A0 and A1 are fixed to the current mode, the analog 0 point and the highest point of the
range of the mode, that is to say, A0 is 0 in Figure 5-2, A1 is the highest point of the temperature value in
the current mode, The user's writing of these two settings is invalid. For example, when using Mode 3
(BFM # 600 BFM # 603 corresponding channel BFM is set to 3), A0 is 0 and A1 is 12000. The
following uses Mode 3 as an example. If you do not change the D0 and D1 values of each channel and
only set the channel mode (BFM # 600 BFM # 603), then the characteristics of each mode are shown
in Figure 5-2.
Figure 5-2 Channel characteristics (without changing the D0 and D1 values of each channel)
Note: When the mode is set to 4, 5, 9, 10 ..., when the output is in degrees Fahrenheit (0.1 ° F), the
corresponding unit in the output data area will read the temperature value in units of 0.1 ° F, and the
channel The data in the characteristic setting area is also in units of Fahrenheit (0.1 ° F), which is
different from the MC200-8TC, MC200-4PT and other modules. Pay attention to this when changing the
D0 and D1 values below. If you change the D0 and D1 values of the channel, you can change the
channel characteristics. D0 and D1 are allowed to be adjusted ± 1000 on the basis of factory settings. If
the current mode uses Celsius, the adjusting range is ± 100.0 ° C. If the current mode uses Fahrenheit,
the adjusting range is ± 100.0 ° F. The allowed adjusting range of D0 is- 1000 1000, D1 allowable
adjusting range
The range is (maximum temperature in current mode-1000) ~ (maximum temperature in current mode +
1000). If the set value exceeds this range, MTC will not receive it and keep the original valid settings.
If the measured value of MTC is higher than 5 ° C in actual use, the current channel mode uses mode 3,
and the error can be eliminated by setting the two points P0 (0, -50) and P1 (12000, 11950), see figure 5-
3.
