thevehicleisparkedsafely.PlacetheStartswitchin
READYposition,depressthebrakepedal,andpressthe
EPBswitchtoturnofftheEPBsystem.
IftheindicatorintheEPBswitchandthered
indicatorintheinstrumentpackilluminate,itindicates
thattheEPBsystemhasbeenturnedon.
IftheindicatorintheEPBswitchandtheindicatorin
theinstrumentpackgooff,itindicatesthattheEPBsystem
hasbeenturnedoff.
Note:AlwaysturnontheEPBsystemeverytimeyou
leavethevehicle.
Note:Anaudiblemotornoisemaybeheardwhen
turningonorofftheEPBsystem.
IMPORTANT
•DONOTleavethevehiclebeforethegearindicator
isdisplayedasP,thevehiclemaynotbesafelyparked
duetoEPBfailureandslip.
•Intheeventofaatbatteryorpowerfailure,itis
notpossibletoapplyorreleasetheEPB.Insucha
case,'boostercables'shallbeusedforemergency
