Ifthedrivermakesanemergencybrakingmanoeuvreand
certainconditionsaremetwhiledriving,thebrakelampwill
automaticallystrobetoalertthedriversbehind,thereby
reducingtheoccurrenceofrear-endcollisions.
Note:Ifthehazardwarninglampsarebeingoperated
manually,thissuspendstheHAZfunction.
AftertheHAZfunctionisactivated,whentheemergency
brakingmanoeuvreisexited,thebrakelampwillstop
strobingafterseveralseconds.
Note:Ifthevehiclespeedislessthan10km/hwhen
thebrakelampstrobestops,thehazardwarninglamp
willilluminateautomatically.Shortpressthehazard
warninglampswitchorspeeduptoabove20km/hfor
5stoturnoffthehazardwarninglamp.
AuxiliaryBrakeSystem
TheauxiliarybrakesystemconsistsofElectronicBrake
ForceDistributionSystem(EBD)andElectronicBrake
AssistanceSystem(EBA).
EBDautomaticallydistributethebrakingforcebetweenthe
frontandrearwheels,sothatthevehiclecanhavegood
brakingperformanceunderdifferentloadconditions.
TheEBAincreasesthebrakingforceappliedoneachwheel
duringemergencybrakingtoassistthedriverinquickly
triggeringABS,therebyshorteningthebrakingdistance.
