actualspeedofthevehicleatthetimeofactivation(ifthe
speedislessthan30km/h,thetargetspeedwillbeset
at30km/h).Ifthespeedofthevehicleaheadisgreater
thanthecruisetargetspeedofyourvehicle,yourvehicle
willmaintainthetargetspeedtoconductconstantspeed
cruise;ifthespeedofthevehicleaheadislowerthan
thecruisetargetspeedofyourvehicle,itwillenterthe
car-followingcruise.Inthecar-followingcruise,youcan
followthevehicleaheadtoastop.Ifthestoptimeisless
thanacertaintime,thevehiclemayautomaticallystartoff
tofollowthevehicleahead;ifthestoptimeismorethan
acertaintime,thevehiclewilldisplayaremindermessage,
andthedriverneedstodepresstheacceleratorpedalto
reactivatetheadaptivecruisecontrol.

ControlSystem(SCS)orTractionControlSystem(
TCS)willinhibittheoperationoftheadaptivecruise
controlsystem
AdaptiveCruiseT argetFollowingDistance
Adjustment
Whentheadaptivecruisecontrolsystemisactivated,move
theknobtoleft(1,todecreasethedistance)orright(to
increasethedistance)toadjustthedistancetothevehicle
ahead,switchamong3distancesettings,anddisplayiton
theinstrumentpack.
Selectappropriatefollowingdistanceaccordingtothe
relativespeedwiththevehicleahead,trafcandweather
conditions,drivingconditionsanddrivinghabits.The
higherthespeed,thelongerthefollowingdistance.
AdaptiveCruiseT argetSpeedAdjustment
Whentheadaptivecruisecontrolsystemisactive:
•Usetheacceleratorpedaltoreachthedesirespeed,
movetheknob(1)ontheleftofsteeringwheeldown,
andreleasetheacceleratorpedal.Thevehiclewill
cruiseatthedesiredspeed.
•Whenmovingtheknobontheleftofsteeringwheelup(
1,toincreasethecruisespeed)anddown(todecrease
thecruisespeed),thetargetcruisingspeedwillchange
intermittently.Whenpressingandholdingit,thetarget
cruisingspeedwillcontinuetochangeuntiltheknobis
released.
