a'headoncollision'oremergencybraking,thevehiclemay
stop,buttheoccupantswillcarryontravellinguntilthey
comeintocontactwithastationaryobject.Thisobjectmay
bethesteeringwheel,dashboard,windscreenandothers.
Acorrectlyfastenedseatbeltwilleliminatethisriskof
injury.
Whentheseatbeltisworncorrectly,itwilllock
automaticallyincollisionaccidentsoremergencybraking
toreduceyourspeedtogetherwiththevehicle,soas
topreventtheout-of-controlmovementwhichmay
causeseriousinjurytodriverandpassengers.Underthe
protectionofseatbelt,youwillhavelongerdistanceand
moretimetostopmoving,andthestrongestboneinyour
bodywillbeartheimpactforce.Thatiswhyitisimportant
tofastentheseatbeltcorrectly.
Whenminortrafcaccidentoccurs,tryingtoshoreup
yourbodywitharmsisverydangerous.Eventhelow
speedcollisionwillgenerateforcethatarmsandhandscan
notsupport,therefore,seatbeltsmustbeworncorrectly
duringdriving.
