Overview
TheairbagSRSprovidesADDITIONAL
protectioninaseverefrontalimpactonly.
Itdoesnotreplacetheneed,orrequirement
towearaseatbelt.
Theairbagstogetherwiththeseatbelts
provideoptimumprotectionforadults,
butitisnotthecaseforinfants.Theseat
beltandairbagsystemsinthevehicleare
notdesignedforprotectinginfants.The
protectionrequiredbyinfantsshouldbe
providedbychildrestraints.
Inthecorrespondingplacewhereairbagsaretted,
thereisawarningsignstating'AIRBAG'.Generally,SRS
containsthefollowingcomponents(thecomponentsare
notcompletelythesameaccordingtodifferentmodeland
conguration):
•Frontairbags(ttedinthecentrepartofthesteering
wheelandtheinstrumentpanelabovetheglovebox
respectively)
•Sideairbags(ttedintheouterseatbackcushionofthe
twofrontseats)
