bydeployedairbags.Ifsideairbagsare
tted,bothdriverandfrontpassenger
shouldbeseatedtomaintainsufcient
distancefromtheupperpartofthebody
tothesidesofthevehicle,thiswillensure
maximumprotectionwhenthesideairbags
aredeployed.
Aninatingairbagcancausefacial
abrasionsandotherinjuriesiftheoccupant
istooclosetotheairbagatthetimeofits
deployment.
Whenairbagsaredeployed,children
withoutproperprotectionmaysufferfrom
seriousinjuryorevendeath.DONOT
carrychildreninthearmsorontheknees
duringtraveling.Childrenshouldwearseat
beltssuitabletoage.DONOTleanoutof
windows.
Afterdeployment,therelativeairbag
componentswillbecomeveryhot,suchas
thesteeringwheel,instrumentpaneland
bothsidesoftheroofrails.DONOTtouch
anyairbagrelatedcomponentsafterairbag
deployment,itmaycauseburnsorserious
injury.
