protectioninaseverefrontalimpactonly.
Itdoesnotreplacetheneed,orrequirement
towearaseatbelt.
Theairbagstogetherwiththeseatbelts
provideoptimumprotectionforadults,
butitisnotthecaseforinfants.Theseat
beltandairbagsystemsinthevehicleare
notdesignedforprotectinginfants.The
protectionrequiredbyinfantsshouldbe
providedbychildrestraints.
Inthecorrespondingplacewhereairbagsaretted,thereis
awarningsignstating'AIRBAG'Generally,SRScontainsthe
followingcomponents(thecomponentsarenotcompletely
thesameaccordingtodifferentmodelandconguration):
•Frontairbags(ttedinthecentrepartofthesteering
wheelandtheinstrumentpanelabovetheglovebox
respectively)
•Sideairbags(ttedintheouterseatbackcushionofthe
twofrontseats)
AirbagWarningLamp
Theairbagwarninglampislocatedinthe
instrumentpack,ifthislampilluminatesduringdriving,
itindicatesaSRSfaultorseatbeltpre-tensionerfault
hasbeendetected.SeekanMGAuthorisedRepairer
immediately.Otherwisetheremaybetheriskthatthe
