Whenthedriveropensthedriverdoor,entersthevehicle
withavalidkey,andsitsinthedriverseat,theinstrument
panelandtouchscreenarepoweredon.Informationsuch
asdooropening/closingstatuswillbedisplayedonthe
instrumentpanel.
1Whendepressingthebrakepedal,thevehicleenters
theREAD Ystate;
2SelectDgear,orshiftintoRgearforreversing.
Note:Ifthesteeringwheelcannotbeturnedafter
thevehiclehasentered'ReadyMode',pleaseexitthe
vehicleensuringthedriversdoorisfullyclosed.Once
outofthevehicle,pleasesitbackinthedriversseat
andplacethevehiclein'ReadyMode'asdescribedin
the'StartingProcedureSection'.
StandbyStartingProcedure
Whenthevehicleisinastrongradiosignalsinterference
area,orthesmartkeylowbatteryoccurs,pleasestartthe
vehiclebythestandbystartingprocedureaccordingtothe
followingsteps:
1Placethesmartkeyintheareaasshownandensure
thatthesidewithbuttonsfacesup.
2Depressthebrakepedalandstartthepowersystem.
Oncethesmartkeybatteryhasbeenreplacedorthe
carhaslefttheareaofinterferenceandthepassivestart
procedurecontinuesnottofunction,seekalocalMG
authorisedrepairer .
