Overview

Thebrakesystemcanbedividedintoparkingbrakesystem

andservicebrakesystemaccordingtodifferentfunctions.

Theparkingbrakesystemreferstoabrakesystemthat

cankeepthevehiclestationary.Theservicebrakesystem

referstoabrakesystemthatcanslowdowntherunning

carandevenstopit,suchasthesocalledfootbrake.The

servicebrakesystemisusuallyequippedwithanauxiliary

brakesystem.Theauxiliarybrakesystemreferstoa

systemthatwillautomaticallyapplythemostappropriate

pressuretothebrakebydetectingthebrakingforcein

caseofemergencybraking,whichhelpstoreducethe

brakingdistance,butcannotstopthevehicleinemergency.

Note:Theservicebrakesystemandtheparking

brakesystemarewhatmustbeequippedineach

vehicle.However,notallvehiclesareequippedwith

anauxiliarybrakesystem.

consultanMGAuthorisedRepairerinorder

tocarryoutanemergencymanualrelease
