ACCisactivated,withthetargetspeedbeingtheactual
speedofthevehicleatthetimeofactivation(ifthespeed
islessthan19mph(30km/h),thetargetspeedwillbeset
at19mph(30km/h)).Ifthespeedofthevehicleaheadis
greaterthanthecruisetargetspeedofyourvehicle,your
vehiclewillmaintainthetargetspeedtoconductconstant
speedcruise;ifthespeedofthevehicleaheadislowerthan
thecruisetargetspeedofyourvehicle,itwillenterthe
car-followingadaptivecruise.Inthe'car-following'adaptive
cruisestate,Thevehicleisabletomonitorthespeedof
othervehiclesfurtherahead,determiningwhentostopor
slowdown.Ifthevehicleaheadisslowingdownbutthen
speedsupagain,thevehiclemaythenbegintofollowthe
vehicleahead,Ifthevehicleisstationaryforaperiodof
time,amessagewillbedisplayedintheinstrumentpack,
remindingthedrivertodepresstheacceleratorpedalto
reactivatetheadaptivecruisecontrol.

(TCS)willinhibittheoperationoftheadaptivecruise
controlsystem
AdaptiveCruiseT argetFollowingDistance
Adjustment
Whentheadaptivecruisecontrolsystemisactivated,move
theknobtoleft(1,todecreasethedistance)orright
(toincreasethedistance)toadjustthedistancetothe
vehicleahead,switchamong3distancesettingswhichwill
bedisplayeditontheinstrumentpack.
Selectappropriatefollowingdistanceaccordingtothe
relativespeedwiththevehicleahead,trafcandweather
conditions,drivingconditionsanddrivinghabits.The
higherthespeed,thelongerthefollowingdistance.
AdaptiveCruiseT argetSpeedAdjustment
Whentheadaptivecruisecontrolsystemisactive:
•Usetheacceleratorpedaltoreachthedesirespeed,
movetheknob(1)ontheleftofsteeringwheeldown,
andreleasetheacceleratorpedal.Thevehiclewill
cruiseatthedesiredspeed.
•Whenmovingtheknobontheleftofsteeringwheelup
(1,toincreasethecruisespeed)anddown(todecrease
thecruisespeed),thetargetcruisingspeedwillchange
intermittently.Whenpressingandholdingit,thetarget
