Ifyouneedtocarryoutmaintenance,observethe
followingsafetyprecautionsatalltimes:
•Ifthevehiclehasbeendrivenrecently,DONOT
TOUCHcoolingsystemcomponentsuntilthedrive
motorisfullycooled.
•DONOTTOUCHelectricalleadsorcomponents
whenthepowerison.
•DONOTworkunderneaththevehiclewithajackas
themeansofsupport.
•Wearprotectiveclothingandworkgloves.
•Removewatchesandjewelerybeforeworkinginthe
frontcompartment.
•DONOTallowtoolsormetalpartsofthecartomake
contactwiththebatteryleadsorterminals.

Fluidsusedinthevehiclearepoisonousandshallnotbe
swallowedorbroughtintocontactwithopenwounds.
Theseinclude:batteryacid,coolant,brakeuidand
windscreenwasheruid.
