Y ourvehicleisequippedwithsummertyreswhicharenot
suitableforlong-termuseandstorageatlowtemperatures.
Thisisbecauselowtemperaturesmayleadtoadecreasein
thesummertyre'sperformanceresultingincrackswhich
mayappearonthetread.Thedamageofatyreorrimmay
happenunnoticeably.Ifvibrationsoranydeviationsare
noticedwhendriving,thismayindicatethetyreisdamaged.
Ifyoususpectthatthetyresaredamaged,pleasebesureto
immediatelyreducethespeedandstoptocheckthetyres
fordamage.Ifyoucan'tseeanydamagefromtheoutside,
pleasedriveataslowspeedtothenearestMGauthorised
repairerforinspection.
Duringtheuseoftyresandwheels,attentionshouldbe
paidto:
•Newtyresnothavingoptimumadhesionproperties,
pleasedriveatamoderatespeedinanappropriateand
carefuldrivingstylefortherst311mi(500km).
•Y oucanonlydriveatlowspeedwhenpassingkerbsor
similarsections,andpassthewheelsthroughthekerbs
atrightangleasfaraspossible.
•Regularlychecktyresfordamage(punctures,scratches,
cracksandpits)-removeanyforeignobjectsfromthe
tread.
•Thevalvedustcapmustbettedtopreventdustfrom
enteringthevalve.
•Ifthetyreistoberemoved,alwaysmarkthetyre/wheel
orientationtoensurecorrectreinstallation.
•Storetheremovedwheelortyreinacool,dryanddark
place.

markedwithanarrow,andyoumustusethetyresin
thisspecieddirectionofrotation.Thusoptimising
thetyrerideabilityandpreventingthevehiclefrom
hydroplaning,improvingadhesiveability,reducingrunning
noise,extendingwearlife,etc.
