roadspeedwithoutusingtheacceleratorpedal.This
isparticularlyusefulformotorwaycruising,orforany
journeywhereaconstantspeedcanbemaintainedfora
lengthyperiod.
CruiseControlSystemActivation
Cruisecontrolsystemisoperatedwithaleverlocatedat
theleftsideofthesteeringwheelunderneaththelighting
stalkswitch.
1WiththeignitionswitchinpositionON,ifthecruise
leverswitchisinthe'Stop'position(7),thenthe
cruisecontrolisOFF .Ifthecruiseleverswitchisin
the'Start'position(4),thenthesystemisin'Standby'
mode.Pulltheleverswitchto'Start'position(4),the
greencruiseindicatorontheinstrumentlightson,
andthecruisecontrolsystemisinstandbystate.
2Withthesystemin'Standby',whenthecurrent
vehiclespeedisabove40km/h(theoperatingrangeis
40～200km/h),pressthe'Set'button(6)attheend
oftheleverswitch.Theindicatorintheinstrument
packwillchangetoyellowandthecruisecontrolwill
entertheactivatedstate.Thetargetspeedofthe
cruisesystemwillbesetatthecurrentspeed,andthe
cruisesystemwilltakeeffect.Atthistime,thecruise
