pressingtheacceleratorpedal.
Note:Thesetspeedheldinthecruisecontrolmemory
willbecanceledwheneitherthecruisecontrolleveris
switchedto"Stop"position(7)ortheignitionswitch
turnedoff.
T argetCruiseSpeedAdjustment
Whenthecruisecontrolisactive:
Pushtheleverupwards(1)andhold,thiswillincreasethe
speed.Releasetheleverswitchwhenthedesiredspeedis
reached.
Pushtheleverdownwards(2)andhold,thiswilldecrease
thespeed.Releasetheleverswitchwhenthedesiredspeed
isreached.
Inaddition,thesetspeedcanbegradually
increased/decreasedbyturningtheleverandthen
releasing;pushtheleverswitchupwards(1)ordownwards
(2)brieytoincrease/decreasethevehiclespeed.T urning
theleveroncewillincrease/decreasethespeedappr .

Whenthecruisecontrolsystemisinoperation,thevehicle
stillcanbeacceleratedbypressingtheacceleratorpedal
(suchasovertaking).Releasingtheacceleratorwillreturn
thevehicletothesettargetspeed.

Whenthecruisecontrolsystemisactivated,thefollowing
operationswillbringthesystemtoStandbystate:
Leverswitchmovedto'Cancel'position(3).
Brakepedalpressed.
AutogearlevermovedtoP ,RorN.
Thepoorroadconditionbringsthestabilitycontrol
system(SCS)intooperation.Forsafetyreasons,the
cruisecontrolsystemwillautomaticallyexittoStandby
state.
Whentheabrupthillresultsintheexcessivedecreaseof
thespeed,thecruisecontrolsystemshallautomatically
exittoStandbystate.
Electronicparkingbrake(EPB)isoperatedinan
abnormalmanner.
