Split,wornorfrayedseatbeltsmaynot
functioncorrectlyintheeventofacollision,
ifthereareanysignsofdamage,replacethe
beltimmediately.
Alwaysensuretheredreleasebuttononthe
seatbeltbuckleispointingupwardstoensure
easyreleaseintheeventofanemergency.
Pleasefollowtheinstructionsbelowtochecktheseatbelt
warninglamp,seatbelt,metaltab,retractorandxing
deviceregularly;
Inserttheseatbeltmetaltabintothecorresponding
buckleandpullseatbeltwebbingclosetothebuckle
quicklytocheckthatthebeltclasplocks.
Holdthemetaltabandpulltheseatbeltforwardquickly
tocheckthattheseatbeltreellocksautomatically,
preventingthewebbingfromextending.
Fullyextracttheseatbeltandvisiblyexaminefortwists,
fraying,splitsorwornareas.
Fullyextracttheseatbeltandallowtoreturnslowlyto
ensurecontinualandcompletesmoothoperation.
Visiblyexaminetheseatbeltformissingorbroken
components.
Ensuretheseatbeltwarningsystemisfullyfunctional.
Iftheseatbeltfailsanyoftheabovetestsorinspections
contactanMGAuthorisedRepairerimmediatelyfor
repairs.
SeatBeltMaintenance
Seatbeltrepairsshouldonlybecarriedout
byanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
Ensurenoforeignorsharpobjectsbecome
lodgedintheseatbeltmechanisms.Do
notallowliquidstocontaminatetheseat
beltbuckle,thiscouldaffectthebuckle
engagement.
