Thepurposeoftheparkingcamerasystem
istoassistthedriverduringreversing!The
camerahaslimitedeldofviewandcannot
detectobstructionsoutsidetheeldofview.
Somemodelshavearearparkingcamerattedbetween
therearlicenceplatelamps.Whenreversegearis
selected,thecamerawilldisplayanimageofwhatis
immediatelybehindthecar.Thisimagewillbeshownon
theentertainmentsystemscreen.
ParkingAidInformation
Itisimportanttorememberthatthesystem
isnomorethananAIDtoparking.Itisnot
foolproofinoperation,norisitasubstitute
forobservationorpersonaljudgement.
Theentertainmentsystemwillprovideparkingaiddisplay
informationandassistthedrivertocontrolthesituation
aroundthevehicleduringparking.
WiththeentertainmentsystemON,selectingreverse
willdisplaytheparkinginformationontheentertainment
systemdisplayscreen(screensaremodelspecic).
Thecolouroftheparkingaiddisplayinformationisdened
asfollows:
•Grey:noobstructionisdetected.
•Green:thedistancetotheobstructionisgreaterthan
1m.
•Y ellow:thedistancetotheobstructionisgreaterthan
30cmandsmallerthanorequalto1m.
•Red:thedistancetotheobstructionissmallerthanor
equalto30cm.
