Fuse
Fusesaresimplecircuitbreakerswhichprotectthecar’s
electricalequipmentbypreventingtheelectricalcircuits
frombeingoverloaded.Ablownfusemaybeindicated
whentheitemofelectricalequipmentitprotectstops
working.
Themountinglocationandratingofeachfuseinengine
compartmentfuseboxandbatteryfuseboxisshownon
thelabelprintedonthefuseboxcover.
Ifafuseissuspectedfaulty,youmayremoveitfromthe
fuseboxandobserveifthemetalwireinthefuseisblown.
Itisrecommendedtohavesparefusesinthevehicle,which
canbeobtainedfromalocalMGauthorisedrepairer.
Comparisonbeforeandafterthefuseisblown
IMPORTANT
•NEVERattempttorepairablownfuse.ALWA YS
replaceafusewithoneofthesamerating.
•Ifareplacedfusefailsimmediately,pleasecontactan
MGAuthorisedRepairerassoonaspossible.
