DrivingthecarwiththeoillevelABOVEtheuppermark,orBELOWthelowermarkonthedipstick,will
damagetheengine.T akecaretoavoidspillingengineoilontoahotengine–aremayresult!




Checktheoillevelweeklyandtopupwithoilwhen
necessary.Ideally,theoillevelshouldbecheckedwiththe
enginecoldandthecarrestingonlevelground.However,
iftheengineisrunningandalreadygettingwarm,waitfor
atleastveminutesafterswitchingofftheignitionswitch
beforecheckingthelevel.
1Withdrawthedipstickandwipethebladeclean.
2Slowlyinserttheoildipstickandpullitoutagainto
checktheoillevel;theoillevelshallnotbelowerthan
the"MIN"markontheoildipstick.
3Cleanoffanydebristhatmayhavecollectedaroundthe
oilllercaparea.Unscrewtheoilllercapandrell
theoiltomaintaintheoillevelbetweenthe"MAX"
markand"MIN"markontheoildipstick.
4Waitfor5minutesandthenrechecktheoillevel,
addingmoreoilifnecessary–DONOTOVERFILL!
5Finally,ensurethedipstickandllercaparereplaced.
