illuminatestoconductasystemself-checkandextinguishes
uponthecompletion.Withtheheadlamphighbeams
turnedon,thislampilluminates,andthemessagecentre
displaysMainBeamOn.
Note:Afterhighbeamisactivatedformorethan2
seconds,themessagecentrewilldisplayMainBeam
On.

WiththeignitionswitchinpositionII,thislamp
illuminatestoconductasystemself-checkandextinguishes
uponthecompletion.Ifthislampdoesnotextinguishor
illuminatesduringdriving,itindicatestothedriverthatthe
dippedbeamlampsareswitchedoffandthatitisnecessary
toturnthemon.Theindicatorashesrstandthen
remainsonafter90secondsoruntilthedriverswitches
thedippedbeamlampson.
DirectionIndicators-Green
WiththeignitionswitchinpositionII,thislamp
illuminatestoconductasystemself-checkandextinguishes
uponthecompletion.Theleftandrightdirectionindicator
lampsareindicatedbydirectionalarrows,whichare
locatedatthetopoftheinstrumentpack.Whenthe
turningsignallampashes,thedirectionindicatorlampon
thecorrespondingsidealsoashes.Ifthehazardwarning
lampsareoperated,bothdirectionindicatorlampswill
ashtogether.Ifeitherdirectionindicatorlampinthe
instrumentpackashesveryrapidly,itindicatestheturning
signallamponthecorrespondingsidehasfailure.
Note:Failureofasiderepeaterlampwillhaveno
effectontheashfrequencyofdirectionindicator
lamp.
