lightingswitchtoposition1.TheAUTOlightingsystem
willautomaticallyswitchthesidelamps,taillampsand
instrumentpackbacklightsonandoffaccordingtothe
intensityofcurrentambientlight.
WiththeignitionswitchinpositionII,rotatethemaster
lightingswitchtoposition1.TheAUTOlightingsystemwill
automaticallyswitchthesidelamps,taillamps,instrument
packbacklightsanddippedbeamheadlampsonandoff
accordingtotheintensityofcurrentambientlight.
Withthemasterlightingswitchinposition1andlighting
on,thesymbolsontheswitchilluminategreen.
Note:Thisfunctionusesalightsensorthatmonitors
exteriorambientlightlevels.Itisttedabovethe
instrumentpanelnearthewindshield.DONOTmask
orcoverthisarea.Failuretoadheretothismayresult
indippedheadlampsoperatingwhennotnecessary.
