Iftheelectricpowerassistedsteeringfailsor
cannotoperatethesteeringwillappearvery
heavy,thiswilleffectdrivingsafety.
Theelectricpowerassistedsteeringsystemonlyworks
whentheengineisrunning.Thesystemoperatesviaa
motorwithassistancelevelsautomaticallyadjustedbased
onvehiclespeed,steeringwheeltorqueandsteeringwheel
angle.
IMPORTANT
Holdingthesteeringwheelonfulllockforlongperiods
willresultinareductioninpowerassistancecausinga
heavierfeeltothesteeringforasmallperiodoftime.
