cleanandundamaged.

•Protectthesealfromanysurfacewhichithastopass

covertherelevantsurface.
•Lubricatethesealinglipswitharecommendedlubricant
beforeusetopreventdamageduringinitialuse.Ondual
lippedseals,smeartheareabetweenthelipswithgrease.
•Ifasealspringisprovided,ensurethatitisttedcorrectly.

positiononshaft.Usettingsleevewherepossibleto
protectsealinglipfromdamagebysharpcorners,threads
orsplines.Ifattingsleeveisnotavailable,useplastic

somecasesitmaybepreferabletotsealtohousing
