RearSeatBelts
TheinertiareelsoftheRHandLHrearseatbeltsareattached
tothebodyparcelshelf,underneaththeparcelshelftrim.Each
inertiareelisxedtotheparcelshelfbodybyaboltattherear
ofeachunit,alocatingtagatthefrontofeachinertiareelholds
theassembliesinpositionontheparcelshelf.Theendofthe
webbingissecuredtoanchorpointsatthebaseoftheD-post
fortheoutboardseats,andatthelowerframeoftherearseat
forthecentreseatbelt.
Thebuckleassemblyforeachoftherearseatbeltsconsists
ofabucklethatcanbefoldeddownintotheseatcushion.
Thebucklesareattachedtospringloadedbracketsthatare
anchoredbyasingleboltatthelowerframeoftheseat,
betweentherightandcentreseatpositions.Thebucklefor
therearrightseatisanchoredtothesamepointonthelower
frameasthelongendofthewebbingforthecentreseat
belt.Thebuckleassembliesfortherearrightandcentreseat
occupantsaresuppliedasasinglecomponent.
Theseatbeltfortheleftrearseatpassesovertheleftshoulder
oftheoccupanttoabuckleclosetotherighthip.Theseatbelt
forthecentreseatoccupantisamanuallyadjustedlapbelt.
Theseatbeltfortherightseatoccupantpassesovertheright
shouldertoabuckleatthelefthip.
SeatBeltWarningIndicators
Thefrontseatbeltbucklesincorporatetheseatbeltdisable
switchthatconnectstotheinstrumentpackbytheSRSECU.
Aseatbeltwarningistriggeredifthevehicleisinmotion
withouttheseatbeltsbeingfastened.Thewarningcomprises
anaudiblechimeandtheilluminationofthewarninglightinthe
instrumentpack.Onsomemodels,topreventanunnecessary
warningifnopassengerispresent,asensorswitchislocated
withinthefoamofthepassengerseat.Ifthesensorisnot
activatedbythepresenceofanoccupant,thentheseatbelt
warningwillnotbetriggered.
