•Lightsideimpactssuchasamotorcycle.
•Impactsthatarenotcentraltothesideofthe
vehicle,eithertoofartowardthecenteroftheengine
compartmentortheloadspace.
•Thevehiclerollingover.
•Theangledimpactisnotofsufcientforce(theimpact
iswithanobjectthatisnotsolid,suchasalamppost
orcentralbarriers).
•Theimpactisnotofsufcientforce(withanother
vehicle,stationaryormoving).
•Theimpactisfromtherearofthevehicle.
DisablingthePassengerAirbag
ThePassengerAirbagshouldonlybedisabled
whenarearfacingchildseatisttedtothe
frontpassengerseat.
Whenanadultisseatedinthefront
passengerseat,ensurethattheairbagis
switchedon.
