EnergyRegeneration(KERS)
Decelerationeffectedbyenergyregeneration
isNOTasubstituteforbrakingsafely.The
drivermustALWAYSbepreparedtomake
brakingmanoeuvrestomaintainsafedriving.
Whenthevehicleisinabraking,over-runorcoasting
state,theenergyregenerationfunctionisactivated,and
themotorconvertspartofthekineticenergyofthevehicle
intoelectricenergy,whichisthenstoredinthehighvoltage
battery.
Energycannotberegeneratedorlimitedundersome
conditions,suchas:
•Ngearisselected(DuringdrivingdonotcoastinN
gear);
•Duringtorqueintervention(SCSortractioncontrol
operation);
•Highvoltagebatteryisfullycharged;
•Highvoltagebatterytemperatureistoohighortoolow.
