Whenautoholdstopsthevehicle,forreasons
suchasshuttingdownthepowersystem,
releasingtheseatbeltorpressingtheauto
holdswitch,theelectronicparkingbrakeis
applied.Itcannotbeguaranteedthatthe
vehiclewillbestabilisedinallcases.For
example,therearwheelsareonaslippery
roadsurface,orthevehicleinclineistoo
great(largerthan20%).Pleasemakesure
thatthevehicleissafelystabilisedpriorto
exiting.
DONOTtakeanyextrariskswhendriving
duetothefactthevehicleisttedwith
additionalconveniencefunctions.Thedriver
shouldpayfullattentionandobservethe
surroundingsevenifthevehicleisequipped
withautoholdsystem.
Theautoholdfunctioncannotguaranteethe
stabilityofthevehiclewhenstartingoffor
brakingonhillsespeciallyonslipperyoricy
surfaces.
DONOTleavethevehiclewhenthepower
systemisoperatingandtheautoholdis
active.
Autoholdcannotguaranteetheelectronic
parkingbrakeoperationinallcaseswhere
thepowersystemisshutdown.Pleaseensure
theelectronicparkingbrakeisappliedand
thevehicleisstabilisedpriortoexitingthe
vehicle.
Theautoholdfunctionshouldbeswitchedoff
duringtheuseofautomaticcarwashes,the
electronicparkingbrakemaysuddenlyapply
andcausevehicledamage.
Ifthevehicleisrequiredtostopfrequentlyforalengthof
time(suchastrafclights,trafcqueuesorstop/start),and
thepowersystemisrunning,theautoholdsystemassists
instabilisingthevehicle,enablingyoutoremoveyourfoot
