TheACCsystemcanautomaticallyswitchbetween
constantspeedcruiseandcarfollowingcruisecontrol
dependingonwhetheritcandetectavehicledirectly
ahead.Constantspeedcruisecontrolispermitted
between20-90mph(30-150km/h)orcarfollowing
cruisecontrolbysettingthedistancebetweenthevehicle
andthevehiclesdirectlyahead.
WhenactivatediftheACCsystemdetectsacarinthe
samelanedirectlyaheaditmayaccelerateorgentlyapply
thebrakesofthecartomaintainthesetfollowingdistance.
Note:TheAdaptiveCruiseControlSystem(ACC)is
designedformotorwaycruisingoranyotherjourney
whereaconstantspeedordistancebetweenyour
carandthevehicleinfrontcanbemaintainedfora
lengthyperiod.

sloweddownthebrakepedalcanautomatically'sink'

underneaththeindicator/lightingstalkswitch.

theadaptivecruiseleverswitchisinthe"OFF"position
(7),thentheadaptivecruisecontrolsystemisinthe
OFFstate.
