Control(ACC).
AdaptiveCruiseT argetSpeedAdjustment
Inordertosetthetargetspeed,theadaptivecruisecontrol
systemmustbeinanactivestate,thegreenadaptivecruise
controlindicatorintheinstrumentpackwillilluminate.
Usetheacceleratorpedaltoreachthedesiredspeed,short
pressthe'Set'button(6)ontheendoftheadaptivecruise
switchlever ,releasethecontrolbuttonandaccelerator
pedal.Thevehiclewillcruiseatthedesiredspeed.
Movetheleverswitchupward(1)andhold,thetarget
speedwillincreaseuntilthedesiredsetspeedappearsin
theinstrumentpack,thenreleasetheswitch.Whenitis
conrmedthatthereisnovehicleinfrontofyourvehicle
orthevehicleaheadexceedsthepreselectedfollowing
distance,thespeedwillbeincreasedtothesetspeed.
Movetheleverswitchdownward(2)andhold,thetarget
speedwilldecreaseuntilthedesiredsetspeedappearsin
theinstrumentpack,thenreleasetheswitch.Whenitis
determinedthatthevehicleaheaddrivingslowlyiswithin
thepre-selectedfollowingdistance,thevehiclespeedwill
decreaseandkeeptheselectedfollowingdistance.
Note:Brieyoperatetheadaptivecruiseleverswitch
upward(1)ordownward(2)once,thetargetspeedwill
change5mph/5km/h,pressandholdtheleverupward
ordownwardandthespeedwillincreaseordecreasein
1mph/1km/hincrements,releasetheleverwhenthe
desiredspeedreadingisdisplayed.
