•Thesensororradarviewisblocked,theambientlight
conditiontriggersthepresetsafeexitmechanismofthe
lightsensor ,orthesystemfails.
Note:Iffollowingthevehicleaheadtoastopwith
theadaptivecruisecontrolsystemenabled,ifanyof
thefollowingconditionsoccurwhilstthevehicleisina
stoppedstate,theEPBwillautomaticallybeapplied:
•Thedriverunfastenshis/herseatbelt.
•Thedriverdoorisopened.
•Thestoptimeexceeds3mins.
AdaptiveCruiseOverride
Ifthedriverhascausetousetheacceleratorpedalwhen
theACCisactivated,thevehiclewillremaininCruisestate
whilethevehiclespeedincreases.Whentheaccelerator
pedalisreleased,theACCwillresumetooperateat
previouslysetcruisespeed.
Ifthedriveracceleratestoahigherspeedandthenreleases
theacceleratortheACCwilldecreasetothetargetcruise
speedinamoregradualmanner.Ifitisnecessaryto
decreasetothetargetcruisespeedrapidly,thedrivermay
manuallymovetheleverswitch'Deceleration'(2).
Note:Iftheacceleratorpedalispressedandheld
abovethepresettimeperiodtheACCmayexittothe
Standbystate.
AdaptiveCruiseResume
IftheACCsystemhasrevertedto,orbeenswitchedto,
theStandbystateitcanbereactivatedbymovingthelever
switchto'Resume'position(5).Thetargetcruisespeed
willautomaticallybesettothetargetspeedbeforeexiting
theadaptivecruisecontrolsystem.
Whendrivingatahighspeed,ifthedriverresumesto
alowertargetcruisespeed,theACCwilldecreaseto
thetargetcruisespeedinamoregradualmanner .If
itisnecessarytodecreasetothetargetcruisespeed
rapidly,thedrivermaymanuallymovetheleverswitch
'Deceleration'(2).
