STARTING&DRIVING
Havingturnedthelanedeparturepreventionsystemon
intheinfotainmentdisplay,pressthebuttonattheend
oftheindicatorstalkswitch(asshownabove).Thelane
departurepreventionsystemwillenterthestandbyor
activestate.Thesystemdefaultstothelastselectedstate
fromwhenthevehiclepowersystemwasON/READY.
Whenthelanedeparturepreventionsystemisinthe
standbyoractivestate,youcantemporarilydisablethe
functionbypressingthebuttonattheendoftheindicator
stalkswitch(asshownabove).Pressingthebuttonagain
willresumethefunction.
Whenthelanedeparturepreventionfunctionis
enabled,theindicatorlampilluminatesyellow.Whenthe
functionisenabledandthevehiclespeedisabove37mph
(60km/h),theindicatorlampremainsgreen.Whenthe
functionisdisabled,thesystemindicatorlampextinguishes
andthemessagecentreintheinstrumentpackdisplaysa
promptmessage.Ifthelanedeparturepreventionsystem
detectsafaultorfailure,theindicatorlampwillashyellow
for90s,andthenremainon.
Thelanedeparturepreventionsystemwillbe
impairedinthefollowingconditions:
•Thesystemdetectsthatthedriverhasnotmovedthe
steeringwheelforapresettimeperiod.
•Duringsysteminterventionthesteeringwheelisturned
intheoppositedirection.
•Thefrontviewcameraisobstructedoritisimpossible
forthecameratodetectthelanelineaheaddueto
weatherandenvironmentalfactors.
•Thelanelineistoothin,damaged,orfuzzy.
•Thevehicleisdrivenonthebendwithasmallcurvature
radius.
•Thewidthoftheroadistoonarrowortoowide.
•Thevehicleisdrivenonaroadsectionwithoutlane
lines.
•Thevehiclehasjustenteredaroadsectionwithlane
lines.
•Thevehiclechangeslanes.
•ThevehicleisnotinD.
•Thevehicleswayslaterallytoofast.
