beabletoassumefullcontrolofthevehiclewhen
usingtheMGpilotfunctiontotrackthecarinfront
shouldtheneedarise.
ForwardCollisionWarningSystem(FCW)
Thedrivershouldpayfullattentionanddrive
carefullyevenifthevehicleisequippedwith
theforwardcollisionwarningsystem.
Theforwardcollisionwarningsystemdetectsother
vehiclesandpedestriansaheadusingtheforwarddetection
radarandfrontviewcamera.Whenthespeedisabove
18mph(30km/h)andthevehicleisapproachingthevehicle
orpedestrianaheadrapidly,thesystemwillpromptthe
drivertoslowdownintimeandkeeparelativelysafe
distancefromthevehicleorpedestrianaheadbyemitting
anaudiblealertanddisplayingapromptintheinformation
messagecentreintheinstrumentpack.
Note:Whenthevehiclespeedisbetween18and
52mph(30and85km/h),stationarytargetscanbe
detected.Whenthevehiclespeedisbetween18
and93mph(30and150km/h),movingtargetscanbe
detected.Whenthevehiclespeedisbetween18and
39mph(30and64km/h),pedestrianscanbedetected.
